Peacock Fountain
This tall, basalt fountain is crowned by a prismatic, stained glass crown, surrounding a bird-bathing hollow. The unique, one-of-a-kind rippled texture of the basalt creates a visual “cascade,” as water falls smoothly down the front. A small, knee-high, carved pocket, provides a cozy location for water plants, or tidy flowers. The hand-made copper basin, at the bottom, holds a papyrus plant in the shape of a fanned-out, peacock tail, while the stained glass, at the top, represents the colorful, peacock crest.
